- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Initial experience great, gave 5 stars on Facebook the day after surgery.. Aftermath however was awful! I had a tonsillectomy here in August, 4 days later I was sent to A&E with an infection from surgery and three months on I've been told I need further surgery to my vocal cords. I received trauma to them causing a polyp, meaning I haven't had a voice for 3 months as they shoved the tube down my throat so hard they damaged it.by Emily SwinscoeDecember 17, 2016
